Collaborate closely with product and design teams to build innovative and user-friendly Android application experiences Implement custom, performant native UI components using modern Android development techniques and React Native Develop reusable components and interfaces for seamless integration with backend services Analyze, profile, and optimize application performance and code quality across the stack Identify and solve complex engineering challenges related to usability, scalability, and security Contribute to architectural decisions and influence mobile strategy across platforms Ensure high-quality releases through thoughtful testing and automation
Qualifications 3+ years of experience building mobile applications using React Native Strong understanding of mobile UI development, animations, performance optimization, and architecture Experience building maintainable and testable codebases, including API design and unit testing Knowledge of multithreading, asynchronous programming, and memory management on mobile Experience interfacing with backend services (e.g., REST APIs, GCP) Ability to work independently, prioritize ruthlessly, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment Interest in crypto and Web3, with a desire to build meaningful consumer products Nice to have: Familiarity with Kotlin or Java and the Android SDK for writing native modules when needed Experience shipping a mobile app from concept to production in a small or solo team Familiarity with Next.js, Rust, or backend development Experience deploying smart contracts on Solana Exposure to offensive security, threat modeling, or penetration testing
