Senior Backend Engineer (Platform) - Design & Develop: Architect, build, and optimize backend systems and APIs that support and integrate seamlessly with front-end applications. - Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to define requirements, set priorities, and ship quality features. - Scale & Optimize: Ensure our systems are robust and scalable by implementing performance enhancements, optimizing data storage, and monitoring system health. - Maintain Quality: Write clean, maintainable code with an emphasis on testing and automation to minimize downtime and prevent issues. - Drive Innovation: Contribute to technical discussions, share best practices, and help evolve our technology stack and engineering culture. - Troubleshoot: Proactively diagnose, resolve, and prevent issues across the backend infrastructure, ensuring a secure and reliable user experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role - Proficiency in TypeScript & Rust, with experience in building and maintaining complex software systems - Proven knowledge about modern design principles as for example event-driven microservices, domain driven design, design- & anti-patterns, TDD, and clean code principles. - Strong problem-solving skills, able to translate product requirements into efficient and maintainable code - Excellent communication skills, collaborating effectively with both technical and less-technical stakeholders - Proven experience designing and deploying scalable, distributed systems with a focus on reliability and performance. - Curious about blockchain and decentralised technology, committed to driving innovation and adoption Nice to Haves - Previous experience in a startup or fast-growing technology company - Knowledge of other programming languages. - Experience in CI/CD and cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., Terraform, ArgoCD, AWS) - Experience working within web3 wallets and indexing
