Senior Smart Contract Engineer Design, develop, and deploy smart contracts on EVM-compatible blockchains: 6+ years of experience Write comprehensive and well-structured documentation for smart contracts and their functionalities. Write in-depth test suite including unit tests, e2e tests, fork tests & invariant tests using Foundry’s best practices. Participate in audits related to the smart contract codebases. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members. Participate in product governance and incident response processes with the rest of the team. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in blockchain and smart contract development. Collaborate with front-end and back-end developers to integrate smart contracts with web and mobile applications.
Proficient in Solidity and strong understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). 6+ years of experience with smart contract development tools ideally including Foundry but any experience is valued (Truffle, Hardhat, Remix). Previous work with decentralized finance (DeFi) projects. Experience in conducting audits with top-tier auditing firms (Spearbit, Trail of Bits, Sigma Prime, …) Strong understanding of blockchain technology and decentralized architectures. Knowledge of smart contract security practices and common vulnerabilities. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Fluent (written and spoken) in English. Nice-to-have Experience with Layer 2 scaling solutions such as Optimism, Arbitrum, Base, Zksync ... Contributions to open-source projects in the blockchain space. Smart contract related tooling skills for scripting purposes.
