Job Overview We are seeking a Blockchain DevOps Lead Engineer to take ownership of service reliability for our microservices and blockchain infrastructure. You will lead a small team to define SLOs, improve release engineering and observability, and enforce secure key/secrets management. Blockchain nodes are part of the platform you will standardize and integrate into production systems. Key Responsibilities Define and drive the reliability roadmap (SLOs, error budgets, capacity planning, cost/performance optimization). Establish platform standards for progressive delivery, safe rollbacks, and change management. Scale observability (metrics/logs/traces with OpenTelemetry) and enforce actionable alerting. Oversee incident management program (on-call, RCA, postmortems) and ensure continuous improvement. Set policies for secrets and key management (Vault/HSM/KMS) and infrastructure hardening. Standardize blockchain node/RPC operations(setup, upgrades, failover) and integrate into service workflows. Hire, mentor, and develop the team;collaborate with Backend, Infra, Security, and Product teams.
5+ years in DevOps/SRE, including 2+ years operating blockchain or mission-critical infrastructure. Proven leadership experience managing 3–5 engineers. Deep experience with Kubernetes, automation frameworks (Terraform/Helm/Ansible), and CI/CD. Track record of delivering production-grade reliability for large-scale microservices. Hands-on blockchain node operations (Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin or similar). Strong grounding in observability, incident response, and system hardening. Excellent communication; English proficiency preferred. Preferred Qualifications Ability to balance hands-on engineering with team leadership and strategy.
