We are looking for a Blockchain Backend Lead Engineer to take ownership of our blockchain integration and data infrastructure. The team already has a data processing framework in place — your role is to refine, scale, and standardize this framework, ensuring it becomes a robust platform powering wallet, swap, and yield products. You will guide the team’s technical growth, enforce best practices, and push execution to production-level reliability. Own and refine the existing multi-chain parsing and indexing framework, making it scalable, maintainable, and production-grade. Define and execute the technical roadmap, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs. Drive quality and consistency in blockchain data handling, including reorg recovery, backfills, reconciliation, and monitoring. Collaborate with product and platform teams to deliver high-quality APIs and services built on top of the data framework. Lead and mentor a team of engineers, enforce coding standards, and foster a culture of accountability and technical excellence. Evaluate and introduce improvements to architecture, tooling, and operational processes.
5+ years in backend or blockchain development, with proven leadership experience(3–5+ engineers). Strong coding skills in Go(preferred), plus Rust/Java or other backend languages. Deep understanding of blockchain fundamentals: consensus, node APIs, event logs, reorg handling. Experience optimizing existing frameworks/platforms, not just greenfield development. Familiarity with distributed systems, data pipelines, and related components (Kafka, ClickHouse, or similar). Track record of delivering production-grade, high-performance systems. Proficiency in English (written and spoken). Daily use of AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development.
