You will work directly with the Head of Product and Development Team to help build new features of the Emergence SDK in Unity, participate in testing, developer documentation updates, fix bugs and more. The primary focus of this role is on Unity, where you will engage in the development of new features and the refinement of our current plugin offerings. Your main responsibility will be programming within our Unity Emergence SDK plugin. Additionally, your work will extend to crafting content and designing new user interface components directly within Unity. Collaboration with our Unreal and Back-End Developers is a crucial part of ensuring seamless SDK integration within our Unity plugin. While an in-depth understanding of Web3 technologies is not a prerequisite, we value a strong work ethic and a passion for acquiring new knowledge. Nevertheless, familiarity with Web3 concepts is considered advantageous.
Must have: -3+ years of experience developing 3D games or AR/VR experiences in Unity -Strong C# object-oriented programming and scripting language skills -Experience with Git -Experience with Unity’s UI Workflow -Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written -Able to work remotely and asynchronously Nice to have: -Experience working with 3D content and content creation tools like Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, etc -Experience with using external libraries / dlls -Familiarity with games / MMOs -Blockchain experience (Web3 and familiarity with Solidity) -Experience working with other game engines like Unreal Engine
Most of our team are based in the UK / Europe, so we would prefer someone +/- 2 hours GMT but we are open to applicants from anywhere globally.
