You can explore some of the exciting research topics we are currently investigating on our [research blog](https://blog.cryptape.com/series/research). ### **Responsibilities** - Conduct high-quality academic research on cutting-edge blockchain topics, including Bitcoin, Lightning Network, Ethereum, Nervos and other ecosystems, and publish in top-tier conferences and journals. - Collaborate with internal teams and external researchers to design and develop innovative blockchain application protocols. - Analyze emerging blockchain trends in areas like cryptography, consensus mechanisms, scalability, security, and privacy, and share insights through technical blogs and reports. - Present research findings at conferences, meetups, and internal sessions.
### **Qualifications** - Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Information Security, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. - Strong background in blockchain technology, cryptography, security, and privacy, including familiarity with protocols like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Layer 2 solutions (e.g., Lightning Network). - Proven academic research experience with a strong publication record in top-tier conferences and journals. - Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Rust, Go, C++) and cryptographic libraries/tools. - Fluent in **English** as the working language. - Self-motivated, capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative research team.
