Job Description

Founding Business Development Lead - You’ll be focused primarily on business development, partnerships, and go-to-market strategies, but you’ll be elbows-deep in everything we do. - You’ll work directly with the HypeLab founders to figure out how to take learnings from our initial base of customers and scale it up. Working on our ads platform will get you access to some of the largest players in web3 and it’s your job to show them why they need to become HypeLab advertisers / publishers. - No one will be able to tell you exactly what to do. We know the goals but we aren’t 100% sure how to get there. That’s where you come in. If there’s a new vertical we should be looking at or a large customer we should be getting in front of, you will have the autonomy to make it happen. If this level of independence and opportunity excites you, this is probably your dream role. - We're especially keen on people who have previous startup experience and folks who've taken an unconventional path to get here. Job Requirements

- You live in or are willing to relocate to the SF Bay Area. - You’re creative at sales and have proven experience doing outreach. You can figure out how to get in front of almost anyone. Cold outreach is not beneath you and you know that getting “no” 9 times out of 10 is part of the game. - A strong strategic business sense with a high-risk tolerance and ability to take calculated bets. This will not be a sales role with quotas to meet. Instead, you will need to build key business relationships that last. - You’re an excellent communicator. You’ll need to be comfortable exchanging emails with the executive team at Uniswap but also sending Telegrams DMs to the degen project founders. - A strong bias-towards-action and a get-it-done mentality with the required tenacity and speed. The emphasis of this role is execution, not analysis. - Raw intellectual horsepower and eagerness to learn. We expect this role to have a steep learning curve whatever your background, and this role might in practice feel like a completely new job every 3-6 months.
