Develop and maintain industry and event databases, regularly research and add new events as they are announced and communicate them. Create and maintain an events calendar, working closely with the Events Manager to ensure the needs of each project are being tracked and met regularly. Create the content for PR release and closely contact vendors and media regarding the PR plan or projects’ milestones before, during and after the events. Regularly research and add regional and global media vendors for the potential needs. Actively coordinate discovery calls with event organisers to understand earned and sponsored opportunities and create summary briefs from calls for internal and client review. Actively pitch organisers for earned event speaking opportunities; prepare projects with key messaging briefs and media training as needed when opportunities are secured. Assist with the events manager in the negotiation of sponsorships for clients. Work closely with the client services team and Events VP to create scalable event marketing practices across clients. Act as a liaison to the Events Manager with event organisers and attendees, clients, venues, suppliers, producers, and vendors to communicate relevant project information and deadlines, as well as respond to any event-related questions. Available for travel and on-site support for large event activations.

Ability to work independently and autonomously while working cross-functionally with other marketing team members, including those responsible for content, PR, marketing strategies, and event tech team Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under pressure. Willingness to travel globally as needed to manage and oversee events.
