Research Cryptographer (EU, Remote) 1. Verifying existing NMC protocols and their security proofs 2. Proof-reading existing written material (e.g. technical whitepaper) 3. Writing new security proofs for existing NMC protocols 4. Optimizing existing NMC protocols for performance 5. Creating variants of existing NMC protocols (synchronous/asynchronous, computational/ITS, passive/active, static/mobile adversaries, boolean/arithmetic, etc.) 6. Developing new protocols and their security proofs 7. Giving internal presentations for educational purposes 8. Participating in brainstorming sessions for new ideas
Basic Requirements 1. 4+ years of academic research experience in cryptography 2. Qualified to at least an MSc degree in mathematics, computer science, or engineering (PhD or Postdoc is a bonus) 3. Several international scientific publications 4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English 5. Extensive experience working with internal and external stakeholders 6. Have highly effective communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills 7. Ability to understand, prove and formally describe mathematical concepts in written form Additional Requirements 1. Deep understanding of multi-party computation, including the ability to write security proofs in the UC framework. 2. Publications in the domain of MPC (Publications in the domains of ZKP or FHE are a bonus) 3. 6+ years of relevant job experience
