1. Ensure good financial management, including financial business processes and administration. 2. Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, invoicing, and other transactions) 3. Maintain an accurate filing and record keeping system for all financial statements and company documents. 4. Manage an end-to-end bookkeeping and audit process of current systems – while acting as the first point of contact for external bookkeepers and auditors. 5. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements 6. Budgeting and forecasting 7. Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems 8. Continually identify risks to delivery, propose solutions where necessary and effectively manage stakeholder expectations throughout. 9. Negotiate and manage the business and legal aspects of a range of commercial agreements; 10. Managing external counsel, key stakeholders and other third parties and to ensure business costs are kept to a minimum and managing external legal advice to ensure sound and commercially useful advice is provided to the business.
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA a plus 2. 2-5 years of experience in accounting and/or financial analysis 3. Ability to synthesize large quantities of complex data into actionable information 4. Ability to work and effectively communicate with top management of the Company. 5. Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills 6. Strong demonstrated use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
