1. Learn and adapt to the Cosmos blockchain ecosystem 2. Contribute to the architecture and operation of a modern container orchestration system based on the Hashicorp software stack (Nomad, Consul, Vault) 3. Write and maintain quality Terraform and Ansible code to help scale our operations 4. Develop key tools for projects that use the Cosmos SDK, which will improve visibility into the blockchain data and user experience (e.g. develop a tool to handle cryptographic signatures for multiple blockchains) 5. Advise and guide leadership in technical solutions and participate directly in investigating performance and availability issues 6. Take part in regular performance testing and help isolate performance bottlenecks 7. Visit our data centers on occasion
1. Experience in, or willingness to learn about blockchains and the Cosmos ecosystem 2. Previous experience in a similar role, including a proven ability to think creatively and develop solutions using sound engineering principles, operational discipline, mature automation, and best practices you have previously put into practice 3. Experience with the orchestration and containerisation software stacks such as Kubernetes and Hashicorp 4. Experience with observability tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, etc. 5. Experience with AWS services and networking or other cloud platforms like GCP / Azure 6. Experience with higher level programming languages such as Go, Rust, Java, C++ 7. A good team player, with the ability to work individually as well as collaborate across various teams in the organization
