Senior Backend Engineer 1 Backend services development** - You will design, develop, and ship new backend services that supports our protocol. This means you will work closely with our smart contract and frontend teams to ensure we continue to ship high quality products. 2 System Infrastructure** - You will help architect scalable systems and processes that can operate optimally under high user load conditions and can maintain high availability whilst safely interacting with 3rd party systems. 3 Help create secure and reliable internal systems** - Behind every successful protocol are countless backend and internal systems that help keep smart contracts running. You’ll work with the trading and backend teams to define requirements to keep our internal systems working like clockwork.
1 You have experience launching large, complex, multifunctional projects - We don’t look for an exact minimum number of years of experience. As an approximation, we’d expect that someone with 3-5+ years of backend engineering experience would have experience launching these complex projects 2 You have a strong grasp of distributed systems concepts and service oriented architecture - You can design and implement high availability systems in a modular way that can handle high user load. We’d expect someone with experience in one of the major backend languages (Javascript / Python / Ruby / Rust / Go / Java / C) 3 You have deep knowledge of smart contracts and web3 technologies - You have built systems that interact with blockchain RPC nodes and index on-chain transaction data Nice to Have - Coding experience in Rust and Solana smart contract development experience
